NEW YORK: Aisam-ul-Haq sets another record in the tennis history of Pakistan as he reached the final of the mixed doubles at US Open. Aisam is the first Pakistani player to reach the final of any grand slam event.

Aisam and his partner Kveta Peschike of Czech Republic, beats Anna – Lena Groenefeld of Germany and Mark Knowles of Bahamas by 7-6 7-6 to reached the final of US Open.

Aisam also reached the semi-final of men’s doubles, he and his partner Ravi Bopanna . Aisam is the first Pakistani to reach the finals of any grand slam event.
