Pakistan beats Malaysia 4-1 in there seocung match in the hocket event of Common Wealth Games.

Mohammad Imran, Shakeel Abbasi , Rehan Butt and Mohammad Waqas each scored one goal for Pakistan. Amin Muhammad Rahim was the only scorer from the Malaysian side.

Match was evenly poised at 1-1 till the first half, Abbasi made it 2-1 going into the third minute of the second half. Next goal was a beautiful display of hockey skills when centre-forward, feeding a pass to Butt who tapped it into the right corner of the post.

Striker Mohammad Waqas finished the game for Pakistan as he stroked a field goal in the 65^th minute to give green shirts a good chance to qualify for the semis.
